Peter Albano, CEO & President
Peter and his wife Lynn along with their children, Lily and Tiger, reside in Memphis, Tennessee. A native son of the great state of Florida, Albano received a BS in Economics at the University of Georgia. He then joined Procter & Gamble and was engaged in several capacities including consumer products, industrial chemicals, international sales and forest products operations. He retired from P&G after after twenty-six years of service.
Albano then began a second career in the RV industry, purchasing an existing Memphis dealership in 1993, then starting new dealerships in 1994 at Aberdeen and 1995 at Olive Branch, Mississippi. His core principles are embodied in the American RV Mission Statement, "We are professionals reliably serving customers, business partners and fellow teammates with competence integrity and respect". Also vitally important to him is championing the RV industry outside the confines of the dealership. He has done this by serving as a Director, Officer and Mississippi State Delegate in the national RV Dealers Association headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area. He also founded the Mississippi RV Dealers Association and serves as its President.
Peter and Lynn enjoy traveling, downhill skiing, cooking and physical fitness. He has more of a passion for golf than it does for him...O well!
Lynn Albano, CFO
Lynn is a Memphis, Tennessee native where she and her husband Peter and children, Lily and Tiger share their home. Lynn is a product of St. Mary's Episcopal School and afterward earned BA and MBA degrees with honors from Mississippi State University. Her professional career began as a health care consultant with Ernst and Whinney, one of the original Big Eight accounting firms. Following Ernst, Lynn joined MedShares, a major home health care company as Senior Vice President. After twenty years in health care, Lynn joined American RV and shaped it into a model company on financial, corporate compliance, legal and regulatory matters. Her fun time is spent traveling, gardening, downhill skiing, hiking, relaxing on the beach and discovering wonderful restaurants.
Chris Jenkins, General Manager
Chris resides in Southaven with his wife Angie and two children, Trevor and Sydney. He has been in the RV industry for nine years but has been in sales and management since 1993. A native born son of Mississippi he grew up in Oklahoma and traveled the world while serving in the U.S. Army with the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, NY. In his freetime he tries to be with his family and saves a little time for his golf and hunting with friends.
Larry Logan, Sales
Larry, who resides in Southaven with wife Cathi and cat Willie, is an RV veteran with over 25 years in RV sales and management. Larry is a lifelong RVer, starting with the first family trailer in 1959. Larry has had several different RV's through the years and even spent 3 years on the road in a 30' travel trailer. Larry joined American RV in 2004 as a sales consultant and continues to bring a high degree of professionalism and integrity plus a wealth of experience to his job.
Kimberlee McPherson, Sales
A native of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kimberlee has twenty years of RV industry experience. Her fidelity to fairness and honesty and her passion for providing customers with unparalleled RV purchase experiences, are the framework of Kimberlee's solid sales leadership. Her idle time, albeit rare, is spent downhill skiing, reading, gardening, traveling and camping.
Bob Anderson, Sales
Bob makes his home in Southaven with his wife Robbie. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Bob is a native of Pennsylvania and came to Tennessee in 1985. A Pittsburgher, he is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Univ. of Pittsburgh fan. He enjoys golf, cooking, dancing, and enjoying the sights and sounds of the south. He and Robbie are members of the Memphis Bop Club.
Mickey Willingham, Director Fixed Operations
Mickey is a Memphis native son. A graduate of Southwest College of Memphis, Mickey started in retail sales at the age of 19. Mickey began his RV sales career in 1992. In 2000 Mickey joined American RV in sales where he was highly successful, and was then promoted to Sales Manager. Mickey has since been promoted to Director of Fixed Operations and oversees the entire Service and Parts Department Operations. Mickey, his wife Laurie and their sons, John and Jacob reside in Drummonds, Tennessee.
Jim Ferguson, Service Team Leader and RVIA Master Certified Technician
Jim and his wife Tracy reside in Barton, Mississippi with their 1 year old daughter, Chloe Brooke. Jim attended Northwest College, Senatobia and Ole Miss at Oxford, Ms. His interests include hunting and motorcycles and he currently serves as youth minister at a local church.
Wayne Weaver, Service Writer
Wayne Weaver lives in Olive Branch, Ms. Wayne’s three children are Byron 19, Kyle 18 and Kara 10. In Wayne’s spare time, he likes to spend time with the family and ride motorcycles. Wayne has been in the RV Business for 4 years.
Jonathan Campbell. RVIA Certified Technician
Jonathan and his wife Nikki reside in Como, Mississippi with their two sons, Seth and Tyler. A seasoned volunteer firefighter, Jonathan spends his free time hunting, fishing and performing community service.
Michele Allred, Comptroller
Michele, who began working in the RV industry in 1982, joined American RV in 1991. After living in Memphis since childhood, she and her husband Jerry recently move to Southaven, MS. Michele has four grown children and three extremely spoiled dogs.
Lisa Walters, Parts and Accessories Team Leader
Lisa and her husband Wayne live in Olive Branch, Mississippi. They have two grown children and one granddaughter, Shelby, who they spare no means to spoil. Her many years in retail store management have suited her well in the mastery of RV P&A business. Lisa's time away from the business is spent making a wonderful home for family and friends.
Mary Davis, Facilities Associate
Mary and her son, Kenny reside in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Mary is an important member of the American RV team and her many contributions are marked by attention to detail and overall excellence. Her time away from work is devoted to her community and to her church, where she is active in the choir.
Meet Winnie, Minnie and Rita. These little wonderful friends have become part of the very fabric of American RV. Indeed they have many friends, a.k.a. customers, who regularly come by just to visit them.
Winnie and her sister Minnie along with five brothers and sisters were discovered and saved from a bag placed on a busy highway. Sadly in 2005 Minnie, the one in the fish net, was stolen from her resting spot by the front door where she would greet all comers to American RV. We all miss Minnie and a reward will be given for information leading to her safe return.
Rita is a Katrina refugee adopted after our dear Minnie was taken from us. We felt compelled to adopt Rita given American RV's extensive involvement providing temporary housing to victims of the devastating hurricanes of 2005 . Both Winnie and Rita live very happy and pampered lives in the store.
They love people, especially children. They also love dogs and are not a bit bashful to meet them. Indeed they behave as if they know how lucky they are to be alive...perhaps a lesson for all of us!
